and saw some great athleticism. When it was hard, grinding work to get to the hoop, only Perkins and Mitchell showed that ability. Pierce, Bates, Ant tended to go into shells. Warrick tended to become one dimensional and hold the ball too long. Maybe just perception, but that's what it seemed like.

Bates was the oddity, because he could look so unstoppable at times.
