what worked and started doing what didn't work..
Stopped
Passing the ball quickly aroind the 3 pt line, until someone was more open,
feeding Mitchell in the low post,
Didn't stop
Crews being out of control
Putting Crews on D at critical times.
Robinson from the "attitude" he brings which costs him with refs on both ends of the court.
Trying to run O through Gray at critical times.
Didn't keep a full court press on which would be the real advantage of playing this many people.
Having shooters take "sensible' 3's where they're set, with their shoulder squared,
Poor free throw mechanics (Gray improved last game)
Gates seems to be the opposite of Norm.He wants to be their buddy and LET"S THEM PLAY, literally play. Nothing much really set except for occasional out of bounds play. I don't get the sense he puts his foot down and says Warrick look for a better opportunity later in the shot clock orexplain people's roles
Finally, he stopped developing Pierce who was at least 1 9pt 9 rb kind of player when the Tigers were good.
