The top five prospects, and seven of the top eight, played at Link Academy in Branson. None of them are originally from the state of Missouri, so I didn’t count them. Beyond that, not much to write home about:
1. Aaron Rowe. 6-0 PG. Columbia (Father Tolton)
Four-star guard committed early to Mizzou. Opinions on him vary significantly: #53 nationally by Rivals; #97 by On3; #134 by 247. He is athletic but had a fairly unproductive senior year and by all accounts his stock has dropped since returning to Tolton after a year at Link Academy ( where he was once a top 25 recruit.)
2. Nicholas Randall 6-8 PF. Phoenix (Compass Prep) AZ
I include him because he is from Missouri and attended Vashon prior to heading to prep school last season. Low four-star (#123 Rivals; #131 247) signed with Mizzou over Cal and Creighton.
3. Zyree Collins. 6-0 PG. St. Louis (St. Mary’s)
Three-star point guard signed with Austin Peay over Lindenwood and Miami (OH).
4. Exavier Wilson. 6-1 PG. Columbia (Father Tolton)
Three-star running mate of Aaron Rowe signed with Kansas St. over Austin Peay and Bradley. Some observers believe he is underrated and has a higher ceiling than Rowe.
5. Trey Williams. 5-11 PG. St. Louis (Vashon)
Yet another point guard, three-star from state champions had mild interest from Mizzou at one point, then signed with Missouri St. over Bryant and Furman.
6. Luke Walsh. 6-2 SG. St. Louis (Vianney)
Three-star sharpshooter signed with SIU-Carbondale over Lindenwood.
7. Corbin Allen. 6-4 SG. Kansas City (Oak Park)
Three-star guard chose San Diego over Ball St. and Lamar.
8. Xavier Wilson. 6-6 SF. Kansas City (Staley)
Not to be confused with Exavier Wilson above, three-star wing remains unsigned. Perhaps a JuCo candidate.
9. Ben Winker. 6-9 C. St. Louis (Chaminade)
Three-star big signed with CS-Fullerton over SEMO.
10. Clayton Parker. 6-8 PF. Montgomery City (H.S.)
Two-star/ three star picked Morehead St. over Lindenwood and SEMO.
11. Trace Sadler. 6-11 C. St. Louis (Cardinal Ritter)
Originally from Sikeston, attended Ritter for his senior season. Signed with SEMO over Lindenwood. Two-star big man.
Not much else worth mentioning. Vashon has a lot of JuCo and D-2 prospects.
