paradigm works and everyone knows it.
In general, the whole influencers thing seems to be a fairly strong net negative. From what I've read a lot of kids are enamored about becoming influencers and their dreams are preventing them (influencing them?) to not seek gainful work or to prepare for "real" jobs. The glitz of many becoming very wealthy at a seemingly fun, easy job as influencers is a huge draw.
On the other hand, I consider many people with Youtube channels as providing a very useful service to society.
Regarding Harris' team in particular, I think what they did in this regard is deceptive, and the way that the influencers are bought without any sort of disclosure is unethical. If they had in their videos something like "this program is funded by Harris for President committee of {whatever}" I would have no problem with it.
