How many players playing on lower seeded teams in the NCAA Tournament aren't motivated? Are the only ones that are motivated the ones that weren't good enough to play Division 1 basketball out of high school? Are the only ones that are motivated the ones that win?
The tournament can be a great event b/c of the upsets... only people who never played high level sports have simpleton takes like this. Sometimes the ball isn't shots aren't falling for you.. sometimes you can't miss ...rarely has to do with motivation...
