despite having a roster full of D-2 players.

Evidently, they're better evaluators of coaching talent than most of Tigerboard.

And that includes myself. Granted, I knew that McCollum is a far superior coach, but I thought the depth & talent gap would simply be too much for Drake to overcome.

I also thought we'd win at least 25 games this year with the expensive transfer haul we had, but we didn't even match Haith's worst season.

Despite what some of you seem to think, I can admit when I'm wrong... And in this case, I definitely underestimated Gates' incompetency in basically every aspect of coaching.
