1981 was 21-8 and Big 8 Champs, that qualifies as a good team. maybe not a team ready to make a run to the FF, but losing out and losing to Lamar is a collapse.
1986 was 14-5 before the losing started.
1993 absolutely was a good team that underachieved and was 15-6 before the collapse. Continue at that rate and they are 21-8 heading into the B8T. Good, not great
