dad was about as good as a high school coach as i've ever watched. I think it was 2018 he took Liberty to the state title game with one guy on the roster...a 5'9" guard that played D2 ball at Washburn and that's it, the rest of them were just average HS players that he made work. They beat out teams in KC like Oak Park with Ochai Agbaji and Christian Bishop at Lees Summit West, Park Hill was also loaded that year.
Edit, looks like it was the semi finals possibly. So he took a team with one undersized D2 guy and got that far. He could really, really coach kids up.
