My take on the NCAA tourney as a long time Tiger fan……..

It’s always seemed like a different sport than the regular season. It’s basically a made for TV drama.
We had a decent team this year, but not shocking that we are done.
We had teams in the 80s-early 90s that dominated the regular season, winning conf. titles, #1 rankings. Those first round losses were devastating. You would watch the rest of the tourney and see teams that we destroyed just a couple of weeks prior. Year after year. It made me really uninterested in the tourney.
Whatever happens happens, but it just feels like a TV miniseries and we are always cast as the character that has the early tragic ending in every script. Who cares anymore?
