certainly goes against the "Coach Speak" protocol.
It may be the perfect way to really motivate the team and his coaches above and beyond the normal methods of doing so, but if things aren't going quite as well as he expected in some area or another it could come back to bite him to some extent.
It creates excitement & enthusiasm on the coaching staff, in the players and among the fans, perhaps helping to boost ticket sales, but if they underperform a bit it could create a bit of a backlash if the new, higher expectations aren't met as the fans expect.
