6 seed is the kiss of death….

Last team to make Final Four as 6 seed 1992 Michigan.
The 11 seeds have made more Final Fours that the 6,7, 9 and 10 seeds since the tourney expanded to 64 teams in 1985.
Losses to Texas, Oklahoma, Vandy, and that last home game against Kentucky really hurt our ability to stay out of that 6 seed and avoid a matchup like Drake. One could argue finishing 2-7 (before last might) maybe it really didn’t matter 🤷🏼♂️
On to next year! For the most part I really enjoyed watching this team play especially after the 0-18. Just seemed to run out of gas and lost that edge or chip on their shoulder type attitude they played with.
