Opponent he should have 30 points on 11-14 shooting and foul out their entire front court if healthy. Should be a total unsolvable problem for them. This is also a game Pierce should thrive, and if we played him Shaw would have his best game. Since we don’t have actual rotations I would absolutely move Pierce to the 3 and play Mitchell, Shaw, and Pierce together for large amounts of time and just totally overwhelm them. Our advantage is size and athleticism so we need to exploit that. Their coach is scouting us and developing a game plan assuming we won’t take advantage of our strengths and that he can make us play the way they want us to
If this game isn’t our season low in 3 point attempts by a pretty decent margin we have problems. This is not the type of team we need 3s to beat, unless it’s wide open resulting from a double down every 3 attempt is letting them off the hook and playing into their hands. Should be all shots at the rim and make them helpless to answer our size and athleticism. And this is the time to challenge Robinson to totally lock his man down and make him a nonfactor
