What's more important? On one hand, the committee punishes teams that don't play a tough non-con, but what if they are losses to the same teams the other team lost to in conference? Texas managed to beat 5 ranked teams this year, NC only one (Their only quad 1 win) and lost to every SEC team they faced. NC was nails against the mediocre teams going undefeated in quad 2 but has a bad quad 3 loss and played almost twice as many quad 3/4 games as texas many of which were teams in their historically bad conference. I'd like to see a team with a similar record not named North Carolina and see if they're let in.
