was the worst thing I have seen, among many bad calls tonight. What he did is the absolute definition of a hook and hold, which is supposed to be a point of emphasis this year. They reviewed it, as was appropriate, and inexplicably and criminally refused to call it. Gates should have stormed the floor and drawn a technical. In hindsight, I’m glad be didn’t, but we are due an explanation (apology) from the league office.
