Doesn't change the fact that when people really started paying attention these precious little flowers wilted.
And that's despite being absolutely loaded with length, athleticism, and ridiculous amounts of raw talent.
'We can be whatever we decide to be.' was mostly true, that's why the total collapse is so sad.
And it's also why many of us aren't big believers in enabling as coaching - how do the coddled react when things get tough? They run for their enablers to make it all go away.
That's the opposite of what it takes to win championships or do anything worthwhile in life actually, activities which usually involve everything going wrong and requiring the utmost perseverance and toughness.
Meanwhile I watch this team give up early at the first signs that Grill's shots aren't dropping in the second half.
