Bates as a sixth year player? Happens almost every game so I presume it’s in the notes we give them.

Bates has been in college 4 years. 2021-22 was his freshman year and he played 4 straight seasons from there. Are the notes we give announcers wrong, and why isn’t anyone correcting that? I even recall Bates addressing it as misinformation at one point during a postgame interview
