Watched the game last night on sec plus. Overall it looked like two bad teams playing a competitive game. McCann threw a good game although I felt like the pitch calling was suspect. Seemed like she started every hitter with a screwball even as the started to adjust. Nasty drop that should have been thrown more often. Really pounded the zone but Ky hitters did a nice job of fouling off pitches and her pitch count ended up really high. Ky had 2 bad plays in CF off well hit balls and an awful PB to offset a bad play in RF and a walked in run by Mizzou. Neither team will beat better teams if they can’t clean that up. Ebbs got hit her first at bat but the reaction by the KY pitcher didn’t seem like there was any bad feelings there. Mizzou hit the ball hard but the air is heavy at cropp at night both teams managed to get a couple out but you really have to crush it there at night.
