Assad is going to have to straighten this out and take it over himself or Iran and Russia will step in. He will have to come to an agreement with the PKK or eliminate them right in the Face of the USA and Israel. That brand of Islam will kill or imprison every non Wahab in the Country, actually the entire Middle East. The Israeli's really gambled when they supported them.
