But I’m a partner in a firm bigger than theirs, I know how Big Law operates, and I have a close friend who’s been a partner there over 40 years. And we have 4 or 5 partners in my firm who came from there as laterals.

You don’t get to where they are by having a concentrated practice in one client or one practice area. They have a highly diverse practice mix over dozens of substantive areas. And most of their govt. work left over a year ago when Marc Elias departed.
