Special Counsel, a biden appointee has given up his suit against the Trump Admin. He was fired by Trump without cause in violation of the Special Counsel statute. Trump fired him anyway and intended to challenge a New Deal era SC decision preventing Presidents from firing Executive Branch employees and appointees. Initially Dellinger challenged Trump's order firing him in D.C. District Court and he won before an oboma appointed judge. The Judge ordered Trump to reinstate him and the Trump Admin appealed the order to the Appeal Court level. Dellinger's legal counsel convinced him to drop out, since Trump would have almost certainly won his appeal.
