concerned with the possibility of someone getting improperly fired (and then rehired) that NOTHING should be done unless and until we can be 100% assured that no mistakes will be made.

Don't save or claw back half a trillion dollars because some $20/hour clerk might get canned and be without work for two months until he is rehired and reinstated with back pay...or he learns to code.

It must be perfect, like the rest of government.
