really NOT doing is cutting to the basket for a pass and layup. Notice how much Vandy did that? I think we used to do it more, and effectively. Maybe we've made so many bad passes lately (especially last game) that Gates is holding it down. This also takes advantage of the bad reffing and it's constant penalizing good D at the basket. Reffing in this game was atrocious, both sides.
Grill is a great addition but of course nothing is a guarantee.
Also, our inbounding still sucks. I thought THAT was covered in high school.
Our weaknesses seem somewhat consistent. That I attribute to mediocre or worse coaching.
