It's about the overall records and big wins for the other programs currently seeded ahead of us.
In order to move up beyond a 4 seed, we will have to win out, which includes beating Kentucky, so we get credit for a top win) and then making the SECT Championship game which means we'll beat a top 5 team in the country....maybe for a second time....and possibly 2 top 5ish teams to get there.
Those big wins are what will move us up. Finishing second, third, or fourth in the SEC is irrelevant to our NCAA seed.
