My senior year of high school. They had this deal where if you got someone to sign up for a JC Penney Credit Card you would get a $5 spiff.
Didn't matter if they were approved or ever used the card or not. So I took a bunch of applications to my high school, and said I would pay them $1 for filling it out.
I net $4 per application. I said when you get the card in the mail just throw it away.
I didn't do it all at once...spread it out over the months...they also gave a $100 spiff on the person with the most applications per month. They had no idea I took like a couple of hundred to my high school.
I won every month, and they never figured it out.
