against the democratically elected leader in Mexico who was friendly with the US and put in a puppet who was anti-US... and they were going to join an alliance against the US... and were going to put in nuclear capable missiles along our border... and would be able to more easily cut off our access to the Panama Canal... and opened a bioweapons plant relatively close to our border... all over the strenuous objections of the US, and repeated warnings that this would lead to war... and in violation of recent peace accords that they had signed with us... and had been sending in weapons designed to strike into the US, and teams to train the Mexican military on tactics in fighting US troops... and were persecuting former & current US citizens living in Mexico, including but not limited to sending in missiles hitting civilian neighborhoods, killing and injuring those civilians... that our government might have reacted militarily after a number of years of continuing escalation on their part.
