According to playtard government employees should be exempt from it at all times and government should only grow. Ever. For perpetuity

I know I've been laid off before for something not my fault. Worked at a med uni in KC and the president of the uni was caught laundering money. Large sweeping dept changes and cuts happened to cut fat and make up for the loss. I was the least tenured in my dept so.. got the boot. It happens. Oh well.

Didn't cry or whine to media or the news just went about my life and wound up better off

I figured layoffs were just a part of working. Am I wrong? Should I have gone to kctv5 and whined?
