I mentioned that Phrejd (and you) can not , will not understand the discussion and here you go and prove it again.
The discussion (as far as my argument is concerned) STIPULATES that 35 million worth of spending MUST come from outside of Indy. That was my original point.
Then I showed how it is plausible and I did it with extremely conservative guestimates of the spending.
And I deliberately made it a family of 4 since that lowered the guestimate all the more. A couple would spend even more per person than a family of four (on average). And I left off such things parking-not cheap,
beers at the game-not cheap, bar tab after the game-not cheap, hookers and blow and getting robbed after the game-not cheap.
You and the hapless phrejd seem to think that if someone brings money from outside an area and spends it in that area ,that the local residents then bury it in a hole in their backyard. But the multiplier affect is well known in economics and I took what I think is a very low figure of 1.54 instead of the traditionally standard 7 just to make a point.
Phrejd agreeing I had the math right was the SOLE part of his argument that he had correct. LOL
