NET rankings still kind of confuse me. how does maryland

jump over us this week? they were 14 and jumped to 12 while we stay at 13.

we beat the #4 team in the nation while they beat an unranked USC.

we have more quad 1 wins (6 to their 5) and their Q1+Q2 record is 10-6, ours is 9-6, And our Q3 & Q4 records are identical.

Their best wins are home vs #22 UCLA, @ #17 illinois, and a home win vs #17 Wisconsin.

Ours are home vs #1 kansas, @ #5 Florida, and home vs #4 Alabama.

and our WAB is #13 while they're #21.

how is maryland ranked a spot above us in NET?
