watching Monday Night Football with him. The Chiefs had just hired Marty and we had tickets that Sunday. It was the first time in a long time that things were looking up for KC.
It was a great night hanging out with the old man and enjoying life. I had no idea it would be the last time I saw him. I had just started teaching and was leaving home super early and he was working nights at the time. He passed two days later.
I feel ya.
