You wonder why trumplicans are so delusional about
politics and then you realize they are also just as delusional about sports where stats are kept. Black and white.
Two days ago, a random poster (not to embarrass anyone but it was Fire Marshall Bill) put Clarence Gilbert on his list of the top 5 shooters in Missouri basketball history.
Not to embarrass Clarence Gilbert but he was probably the worst shooter that ever started for Missouri and certainly the worst that started over multiple seasons.
Not my opinion that's just the stats.
Stats: top 10 scorers in Mizzou history. Clarence Gilbert is one of them . He shot 37.6% from the field. The next lowest in the top 10 scorers-Ricky Paulding at 44.4%.
Then I looked at some random names of former stars:
Larry Drew, Jon Sunvold. Willie Smith , Norm Stewart, John Brown. The lowest was Norm Stewart at 40.3%.
Then I just picked some random names: Mark Dressler, Keon Bell, Noah Carter, Sean East, Kobe Brown. Lowest of those was Keon Bell at 44.1%.
OK so among these three who was the worst shooter:
Ernest Ross, Nick Honor and Clarence Gilbert? Why it was Clarence Gilbert. Ross at 39.2%. Honor at 37.9%. Gilbert at 37.6%.
I gently TBIMed the random poster to let him know just how wrong he is and of course this resulted in:

Note: Gilbert was pretty decent from beyond the 3, its just that overall he was terrible.
So the next time an idiot lies about me, just understand the level of delusion you are dealing with -people that think the worst shooter was among the best.
