I heard the best way to get rid of them was to cover your legs with shaving cream and use a credit card to "shave" your legs in order to scrap them away and see where you've gotten them off.

It was something sitting in a restaurant trying Carolina-style BBQ and suddenly feel like you'd gotten next to a spark plug.
