To be clear the fanbase loved Tony Perkins, but said he was frustrating. One game go off for 25 and then have to straight game scoring like 4-6 points. He outside shooting was also labeled "streaky" ...which I don't see. I think his mid range game and driving has been a nice surprise. I also think he does not take hardly any bad shots, which is also a sign of maturity. I do like his game. Feels like he knows when to take over vs. defer.

The one play last night where he got the board and drove end the end was great to see. Also - I trust him to finish through contact and not get called for a charge, something Ant has yet to show. Sean East 2 was similar in his first season here, like Ant he tended to put his head down and force the refs to make a judgment call.

And Perkins at like 83% from the free thrown line is comforting.
