Their $5 billion USAID investment played upon ethnic tensions in seeding the Maidan color revolution.
They installed a government more to their liking.
They told the new government what they could and could not do.
State-CIA actions, including talk of bringing Ukraine into NATO and the sham Minsk Accord negotiations, triggered the Russian military moves into Ukraine to protect the ethnic Russians in the eastern provinces.
Their scheme to extend military and financial hegemony to the doorstep of Russia and to undermine Russian stability failed miserably.
The blood of the hundreds of thousands of young men killed on the battlefield is on the hands of the US State Department and their CIA arm.
And all the time, they told bald-faced lies to the American public about how it was all about protecting democracy.
