nobody would respect the L anyway. Let's say Mizzou is playing Tennessee in their last SEC game of the year and if they win they go to the SEC championship game, and if they lose, South Carolina goes...they'd really remove someone from their own championship game? What if it was the difference of that SEC team making the playoffs or not, and the conference loses a playoff spot because of it? No way they wouldn't break that rule instantly.
