At how many people seem to misunderstand Kroenke role and value to this team.
If she averaged 8-10 ppg that would just be an added bonus. But scoring is not her role on this team. We have plenty of scorers (although not enough to be a good D1 team) on our team in Slaughter, Judd, Randle and Schreacke.
Her role is the bring the ball upcourt, direct the offense, distribute the ball, play relentless hard nosed defense, and to take care of the ball, the latter of which addresses a key flaw in this (and all of Pingetons) teams. She has a sterling assist to turnover ratio, top 25 in the nation I believe.
Kroenke makes this team better, in tangible and intangible ways. Ragging on her because she doesn’t score more is completely misunderstanding her strengths and role.
