because 'finding corruption' (whatever that means) is not at all the same as 'spending reduction'.
In addition, there has been significant pushback on Musk's actions. do you think he's going to now have the same outcomes he had with USAID?
There's a real belief by many that USAID money is now being saved. I firmly disagree. In March, Congress will again vote on budget/CR. I expect that funding for USAID will still be there; it's not going away.
If you want to save money, it has to start with Congress.
