Well in the portal. What a staff sees of a player in high school on tape is much different from what they see on tape with a portal kid. A high school guy is 18 years old, maybe he is dominating, but he may not in college. If a portal guy shows well on tape, you could have a starter or a star. High schoolers are mostly, not all, crap shoots.
