Yes, I wish he was different in some ways. Less purposefully attacking. More message discipline. More "by the book" at times. Yet, if he were any of those things he would never have made it to the Presidency. He is who he is, and while at times distasteful he is actually a very effective and important President. And his total refusal to accept the game as it stands and keep it between the lines the insiders drew is how he did the impossible and twice won election as a true outsider.
