maybe the dude is difficult and not a "team" guy that they want to tie themselves to for another decade and half a billion dollars.
He could be rolling in late to meetings, skipping practices, who knows.
But that being said, they got a really poor return compensation. Trading him isn't the end of the world...but what they got back was.
