Knowing Hef, he was being a bit facetious with it, but I got his point. US consumers and companies certainly pushed the march towards Chinese goods. And, Walmart, being the biggest retailer, helped lead that charge, and the competition followed.

In other words, the market went there. Hell, Trump went there for what goods he could find in his own businesses. And for so many dumb reasons, our government finds ways to be anti-market.
