I feel the biggest reason for this is no holiday tournament. That will usually get you 3 Q1/Q2 games added to your non-con, while also subtracting 3 games from Q4. Hopefully with Gates getting some continuity with roster stability he will begin to get us in these tournaments. Plus, who doesn't enjoy watching Mizzou compete in these tournaments during thanksgiving week. Its a win-win
