She said that it was like night and day working for the government vs in the private sector. She said that managers have very limited authority to discipline workers in the government sector and the employees knew it and exploited that fact to a ridiculous extent. She said that it was a toxic environment. The people were very lazy & felt entitled, and the waste & inefficiency were disheartening.
