So the guy firing it was pretty safe. The rest of the crowd was a different story.

My cousin had a place with a huge flat pasture when we were kids. We used to go out to the middle and shoot an arrow up and see who could land one the closest to us. I think the closest one of us ever got was maybe 50'.

I'm pretty sure our parents would have had conniptions if they had ever gotten wind of this. Kids were so much freer to do stupid shlt back then, it amazing any of us made it to adulthood. I think it just goes to show we really overprotect our kids today.
