I believe that when unbiased history books are written about this era, I will be shown to have been absolutely right about him, and that the 49.8% who voted for him were mistaken, and that your views are the ones that are unbalanced. A few examples:
1. I am right that he is a pathological liar.
2. I am right that he is a serial adulterer.
3. I am right that he suffers from severe narcissistic personality disorder.
4. I am right that if he were going to coach one of your kids’ baseball teams, you would take your kid off the team. Not because he is ignorant of baseball, but because you don’t want a vulgar moral reprobate serving in a position of leadership and influence over your kid.
5. I am right that he is not trustworthy , loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, or reverent.
6. I am right that if a man can’t follow any of the 12 elements of the Scout Law, he is unfit to be President.
7. I am right that the world was a more dangerous place in late 2020 than in early 2017, and that it will be a far more dangerous place in late 2028 than it is today.
I thought Leavitt was petty, shrill, sycophantic ,and condescending. Her repeated gratuitous insults of Biden, though perhaps sometimes valid, were unnecessary, divisive, and made her appear small-minded, mean-spirited, vindictive, and unlikable. And while all of those things are wholly consistent with the character of her boss, they are and were wholly inconsistent with the meaning of that cross displayed so prominently around her neck. What she “killed” was the possibility that any decent person will think that she is a decent person. You can only lose your credibility once, and she seemed in a hurry to do so.
My self-respect, which you consider yourself qualified to denigrate, is based in part on my conscience which requires me to be truthful when confronting evil. And Donald Trump, though I agree with him on some things, is an evil man and unfit to be President. I hope and pray that one day you will come to realize that these things are true.
