While I don't support imminent domain, one of the only ways to make it worse would be to eliminate all payments.

The government harshly punished if not destroyed people through an arbitrary and unilateral decision that was no fault of the people destroyed. They were deserving of something, and it was inevitable something would be done. But as I said all along, if you are giving them money it needs to be trackable, and the method fair and verifiable. I would have fully supported that. None of that was done.
