very worst movies I have ever seen. I was fortunate enough to sleep through parts of it, and if I had been in a theater, I would have walked out.
The acting was dreadful.
The writing amateurish.
The fight scenes childishly bad.
The direction was pathetic.
The storyline itself was just awful.
And there was the scene where a single soldier rides a gigantic rhinoceros into battle in the Colosseum. Looked like a scene from the 300 Spartans. Only the 300 was much better done and more believable.
The actor who played the lead seemed horribly miscast. But at least they had two co-Caesars. Red headed twins who were gender confused to put it politely and effeminate in the extreme. Enough to make RuPaul look like Hulk Hogan.
The original gladiator movie was excellent. One of the very best. This was a travesty, a disgrace. A waste of time and effort.
