so hated in the DC establishment, making them actually work and earn their paycheck.

You could easily tell the Dem party hated having to get out on the road among the common folk campaigning for your vote. Even though we pay their salary and they work for us, somehow they still managed to build a large cult following of people that feel the need to serve them. Odd.
