They can try but it won't happen. Only Franklin Roosevelt (democrat) was elected to a third and fourth term which is why the Twenty-second amendment came in to being.
Congress approved the Twenty-second Amendment on March 21, 1947, and submitted it to the state legislatures for ratification. That process was completed on February 27, 1951. President Roosevelt passed away at Warm Springs, Georgia on April 12th, 1945.
