They are absolutely awful for long road trips on a time crunch. I don't want EVs subsidized by the government or pushed so hard by auto manufacturers, but I'm not sure why people who chose to drive gas powered cars have to hate EVs.

I don't own one because it doesn't fit my use right now. I know a lot of people that have them and would never go back. These anecdotal stories about anti-EVs are silly.
