Seems like we frequently have the other team in the bonus with 10-12 minutes left in the half. Was the case again last night, which kinda puts you at the mercy of the refs down the stretch when you really need stops. This situation arises with various players just making unproductive fouls early in the half.
I wonder, with playing such a deep rotation, if individual players don't worry about getting in foul trouble as minutes and rotation don't make it likely for anyone to be in much danger of fouling out. Seems like all of them are willing to just get a senseless or lazy foul or two, which then adds up to a team foul issue. We play aggressively on that end, but many of these aren't necessarily 'good' fouls that come from playing solid, aggressive D. Have to have some recognition of how the game is being called or we will continue to have nights like last night.
